Medium Format Technical Field Camera

This is a technical field camera built for my friend Frank Jackson. It’s based around the Mamiya Press lens and a Horseman 6×9 120 roll film rotating back. The front plate has the ability to mount large format lenses as well. The camera movements are front rise/fall, shift, tilt, swing, and rear tilt/swing. There are two base plates for short or extra long bellows extension. All parts are machined Aluminum.

4×5 View Camera

I built this custom view camera for my good friend Frank of Fotographz. Frank is a brilliant photographer and we’ve been talking about doing this project for a very long time. The camera has some neat features and is designed so it can be made using a variety of manufacturing techniques- laser cutting, 3d printing, machining and traditional woodworking.

Open frame test bench style mini ITX desktop PC.

This was a really fun build and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. SendCutSend did an amazing job laser cutting the Aluminum chassis and turned it around in record time. If you want to build your own check out the full writeup on Instructables and download the files.

This is was also a featured build on PCPartPicker , received a writeup on WCCFTECH and appeared as a several page article in Custom PC magazine.

Porsche 914/6 GT5R

A friend asked me to help out with his Porsche race car so I did some chassis TIG welding, body work and custom air ducting. The air ducting was made by creating a foam core and molding the fiberglass around it. The ducting actually worked too well- it flowed so much air through the oil cooler that it had to be partially blocked off in order to get the engine oil up to temp. I also worked up an aero package for the car with a rear wing, air dam and splitter.

Mazda CSR sports racer

This was a former Ralt R5 that was turned into a CSR sports racer. My friend asked if I could modify the existing bodywork to fit a new larger wheel/tire setup so I made quick patterns and snap molds so I could mold carbon fiber wheel arch extensions and graft them onto the existing bodywork.

Silver casting

An enormous necklace casting I did for the amazing Missmonster. She sent me a fantastic sculpted wax piece and I cast it in Sterling Silver for her.
